Environmental Military Police

In direct contact with several species of animals, the children hear about taxidermy technique, known as stuffing, where the doctors preserve animals that were victims of the predatory action of man. In this way, this animal is conserved.

Taxidermy technique consists of removing the animal's skin, discard the viscera and make a mold similar to the body of the animal. The skin is preserved with tanning substances and put again on the mannequin. The stuffing may take up to a year, depending on the animal and the size, is a delicate and detailed work that requires the expert knowledge in different areas.

The exhibition of stuffed animals arouses the curiosity and interest of the child. The military police of the environment uses the most varied species of animals that have died, serve to teach the importance of preservation of species.
